I’m always wanting my skin to look dewy and glowy. I’ll share some products & techniques that help me achieve that glow.

For starters, I dampen my skin between every step of my routine (except SPF). James welsh gave me this idea ages ago and I use the cosrx centella toner or the hydrium watery toner. Tap water or distilled work too! This seems to help get more moisture locked into the skin. 

I’ll tag products that seem to give that dewy glow to my dry/combo dry skin.

Honestly, the product? Nothing
The packaging: sometimes the black top part of the pump can come pop off while pumping out the product but it pops right back on so its no big deal!

I love the centella, ceramides, and peptides. They work togetger great to deliver hydration, soothing, and plumpness to the skin. Also love that the ceramide NP and peptide complex are not way at the bottom of the INCI. Theres a generous concentration of those great ingredients!

I have no negative thoughts about this product honestly. It seems like it would be suited for all skin even very sensitive skin as all the active ingredients are at a low percentage and it doesn’t have common irritants.

This has that fat water texture which i really like. 3% Niacinamide, 2% arbutin, 6.7% glycerin
Love that its a lower percentage of N, cause everything has it Niacinamide these days. I honestly didn’t notice any brightening effects. it lasted me about three months and I used it almost daily. I probably won’t re-purchase as there are much more effective Products that have higher concentrations of more powerful brightening ingredients.

 I’ve seen a lot of people posting about how their skin reacted negatively to this product. I wish there was a lower percentage of Centella. The formula has 77% centella extract! Thats a lot! My skin hasht reacted thus far but km sorry for those whove had bad experiences.

 Although I haven’t been using it for very long he ingredients list on this product is really impressive. With 4% niacinamide 2% tranexamic acid and 3–0 ethyl ascorbic acid this packs a punch for brightening the skin and fading discoloration.

The only thing that seems weird to me is that there’s a pretty high concentration of Willow bark extract in here. By that I mean it’s just pretty far up on the ingredients list. But I’m not sure if it’s enough to actually cause exfoliation I mean overtime it would have to, but it didn’t irritate my skin that I know of 🤙 stay tuned for a review I will do once I use it for longer

At first glance, it’s kinda weird that they put an “essence” in this serum pump bottle thing. The essence actually looks quite gelatinous as it is dispensed. But upon application to the skin, it immoderately turns into wet wet water 💦 and disappears. 

i’ve only used this a couple times as I have too many products open right now. It didn’t sting my face at all it left my face pretty hydrated and really really smooth to the touch.

The price is pretty steep unfortunately. ~$40

Smells so yummy, the texture is not too thick, but it also doexnt feel super silicone-y. My all time fave CB so far. Doesnt sting my eyes
