Atorep Barrier Cream
🧊Price- Rs 650 for 50 g
🧊My Skin type: Combination skin with slight redness
🧊Packaging: Weightless pump Packaging, extremely convenient and travel friendly.
🧊Texture: It's creamy and feels little rich in consistency. Not too greasy for Combination to dry skin but during summers can feel tad more greasy during day time.
🧊Fragrance: No added fragrance, it's unscented as well.
🧊Ingredients: ceramide I, III, Vl, phytosphingosine, centella, cholesterol.
🧊My Experience:
I so so wanted this as a dupe for cerave and illiyoon ceramide moisturizers. I have been using it since 1.5 months on and off both during day and night time.
It's creamy , provides ample emollience, smoothes and softens skin. Added centella soothes when I use Retinoids.
Day time: It pills horribly with sunscreens to an extent that I have to wash my face off and can't go out wearing this. It brutally pills with it's own brand sunscreens, silicone based ones, even hybrid ones. Only loreal sunscreen with essence texture didn't pill that bad but still it did. Also it pills with hydrating toners, serums.
Night time: At night, it pills again bit less as compared to day time. It worked pretty well on retinoid nights, as in provided ample moisture and buffered it down. I tried several methods of patting, applying water etc still this product never stops pilling on me.
It is extra greasy now in summers. It might be a good choice during winters for dry skin. Check the last picture to understand how it pilled within 5 minutes of application. I couldn't much feel any relief for my redness or whenever I experienced irritation as well.
🧊Rating: 2.5 out of 5
🧊My overall recommendation: I like the other version with just ceramide NP better than this variant any day
Pills so bad, nightmare it can be
