The Balancing Sulfur Mask is a deep cleansing clay mask. It is aimed for combination to oily skin types with tendencies to breakouts and shine. It can also be used as a spot treatment. ☁️ Key ingredients: The key ingredients in this clay mask are sulfur and kaolin for deep cleansing and minimizing congestion in the skin. For minimizing dehydration the product also consists of glycerin and allantoin. The benefits of allantoin include anti-inflammatory properties, hydration, while minimizing redness and being soothing on the skin. ☁️ Packaging: The product comes in a simple squeezy tube. It is easy to get the product out, and I prefer a tube over a jar for obvious hygienic reasons. ☁️ Scent and consistency: The clay mask has a minty scent and is quite creamy. It reminds me of toothpaste, that I guess many of us unfortunately used in our younger days on our pimples. 🎭 My thoughts This is a very nice clay mask and the scent doesn't bother me at all. It is creamier than most of the clay masks that I have tried. It does dry down a bit though if you keep it as long as they recommend in the instructions, which is for 10-15 minutes. Altbeit it doesn't get as dry as other clay masks that you feel your face will fall of if you move a muscle. This product isn't a magic product, hence you will not see immediate results. I did not get a wow-factor after a single time of use. But after using it continuously I can say that I have noticed a difference in my skin. I used to get closed comedones on my forehead and I don't get many of those anymore, and the mask does minimize congestion in the skin. If you have sensitive skin then perhaps you should stay clear of this mask. The first time I used it my cheeks burned and I had to remove it from that area. After that I have been using some calming products and now I don't have any issues using it on my cheeks anymore. I would definitely repurchase this mask.
