treasuredbeautyfinds review for Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Brightening Eye Cream Fragrance-Free

I was lucky enough to be a part of the PinchMe review panel for the new Olay Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Eye Cream. Since the product has finally launched I decided to share my review here (no obligation to do so from PinchMe). It contains my favorite form of Vitamin C (Ethyl-ascorbic acid): a potent form of vitamin C with excellent brightening effects and without the irritation or fragile shelf life of L-Ascorbic acid. As always, Olay comes through with the niacinamide (Vit B3). They’ve combined the power of vitamins C, B3 & B5 with peptides to really help boost hydration and brightening effects to the under eye area. Full disclosure: I am a South Asian woman in my mid-30s. Dark under eyes are in my genetic markup. I am not looking to change this, but I don’t want to look dull and dry under my eyes either. This has been my only morning eye cream for over 6 weeks now and I can say confidently that it really helps improve long lasting hydration and my under eyes appear smoother and brighter. It is by no means a darkness correction product but works excellently well at plumping up hydration & providing a brighter under eye during the day. I am also very appreciative of this eye cream being fragrance free, a lot of high end eye creams contain so much fragrance that my eyes water and turn red. This formula has been gentle on my eyes, no irritation and I’ve been happy to use it daily. The formulation is silicone based however it feels silky smooth, not heavy. It glides onto the skin well and a little goes a long way. I apply this about 10 minutes before sunscreen to give it a chance to soak in. I’ve never had any issues with pilling or layering product. I’m so happy to have this product and am thoroughly enjoying it.
