It features ingredients like Witch Hazel Water, Jicama Root Extract, and Panthenol. Straight from the bottle, the typical gel consistency creates nice, airy foams when you lather it on your wet palms. This kind of texture is what I considered as the “benchmark” for gel cleansers – not too runny or too thick – just nice enough. It does have any added fragrance components but you can sense a very mild sweet scent, probably due to the inclusion of Jicama Root Extract. This cleanser is able to cleanse my skin really well I would say. It does not have the ability to remove makeup or heavy-duty sunscreens but as a second cleanser, it is pretty good. What I love about it is how soft and gentle it feels when you massage it on your skin – does not need any sort of harsh tugging or rubbing – which means less friction on our skin, hence protected skin barrier. The fact that they used Jicama Root Extract as the ingredient is underrated & deserves to get some appreciation because of its ability to be an antioxidant boost – fighting free radicals from environmental stressors. Post-cleansing-wise, I love that it makes my skin super soft and smooth but at times when I needed some very deep cleansing, this just gives me that weird waxy finish but I guess, it is a “me-problem” and not the fault of the product. Also, as a person who loves to use a generous amount of cleanser, with such price and volume, this is an affordable cleanser that will fit into anyone’s budget.
