Klairs Gentle Black Fresh Cleansing Oil A lighter version of Black Deep Cleansing Oil which is light weight and has a fresh non-oily finish. It claims to remove all makeup, oil, dirt residues dead skin cells and controls sebum production gently and effectively. Favourite cleansing oil among the skincare enthusiasts. My Thoughts: I have learnt having a double cleansing in my evening routine is important to remove dirt, makeup & any pore-clogging impurities, while still being gentle on the skin. I have found KLAIRS cleansing oil did exactly that without leaving any heavy feeling normally associated with oil cleanser. It has a thinner & runnier consistency than normal oil-based cleansers which is closer to that of a thin serum than oil. It emulsified easily into a milky substance once mixes with water, rinses off effortlessly & will leave no greasy residue after cleansing. I love it contains only 6 simple fragrance-free & skin friendly ingredients with 4 types of oil namely sunflower seed oil, grape seed oil, jojoba seed oil & black current seed oil. Each of these oils can benefit the skin in different ways but when combined, you get a cleansing oil that cleanses your pores thoroughly, leaves your skin feeling hydrated & fresh after cleansing, and also rich in Vitamin A, B, C with good antioxidant properties to nourish your skin at the same time. Truly well formulated for caring a delicate skin. As a person with combo sensitive skin & seldom wears makeup this cleansing oil is just right for me. I like its lightweight texture and simpler ingredients list that leaves my skin feeling comfortable & refresh after every use. Rest assured, it also doesn’t sting the eyes. If you have combo skin like me or oily skin types you ll definitely enjoy this one. Those with dehydrated / flaky skin who wants a deeper cleanse, who uses heavier makeup or want a more nourishing cleanser for winter might like the Klairs' Gentle Black Cleansing Oil better. Overall it is a pleasant experience using this cleansing oil as my 1st cleanse, & will definitely repurchase again once emptied.
