💙Clinique City Block Purifying Charcoal Clay Mask + Scrub review💙 🦋What it is: Dual action mask that purifies and polishes the skin. It is great deep-clean treatment from well known North American brand Clinique, that’s been on the market for over 50 year! 🦋Key ingredients: 💙Kaolin (white clay): soft clay found in nature commonly used in skin care to absorb sebum and prevent pore clogging by drawing out impurities and toxins from the pores. 💙 Natural Bamboo charcoal powder: 100% natural and environmental friendly ingredient made up of pieces of rapidly growing Moso bamboo plant. Compared to regular charcoal, bamboo charcoal has ten times more surface area and is four times stronger in it’s absorption rate. It’s porous structure provides countless little holes to trap pollutants, impurities and other debris from the skin, so they can be washed away. 💙 Silica beads: silica is naturally occurring and abundant mineral, found in water, soil, plants and animals. Commonly used in skincare as abrasive, absorbent and viscosity increasing agent. Silica beads are gently exfoliating and refining skin’s texture. 🦋Packaging and texture: The product comes in 100 ml squeeze tube. The mask is grey in colour, has pretty viscous texture with scrub particles. Fragrance and paraben free. 💙🦋My experience 🦋💙 It is great 5 minutes deep-clean mask that’s been working great for my oily skin with clogged pores. The texture of it is quite pleasant: it’s easy spreadable and the scrub particles are not too abrasive due to rounded silica beads used in the product. My skin does feel tighter as the mask dries, but after washing it of there’s no filling of tightness or dryness present. The mask is actually change it’s colour from medium grey to blue as it dries to indicate the time to rinse it off! It makes my skin feels super clean, refined, smooth, matte and soft! It doesn’t totally get rid of blackheads, but it makes the pores look cleaner and smaller. I’m totally satisfied with the product and would definitely recommend to those with oily skin and enlarged, clogged pores. 🦋Rating: 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
