When I got the worst hand eczema breakout durning a heat wave last year this stuff saved me from chewing off my own hands to stop the itching. Due to the increase of hand washing we all started doing last year I had taken to a bad habit washing my hands for the reccomended amout of time ...in water as hot as my hands would tolarate. Several times a day. Plus washing dishes without gloves, stress, and the fact that I bake for a living all accumulated to a very nasty breakout. Red inflamex hands, fluid filled blisters (even under the tips of my finger nails), flaking/peeling skin, broken skin on the jointed parts of my fingers that blead, stinging sensation each time I had to wash my hands, sensitive to the touch, skin discoloration that made my inflamed fingers look at least 2 shades darker than my normal skin color and, and itch that would NOT cease under any circumstances. I tried every lotion and cream I already had in my bathroom and while they all moisturized my hands they did nothing to calm the outbreak. I found this at my Kroger and saw it was specifically for eczema and gave it a chance. Within a week I saw improvement. Blisters were calming and I could wash my hands (in cool water!) relatively stinging free. Within 2 weeks the blisters had dried up and I could wash my hands pain free. My skin returned to its normal shade, the itch calmed, skin texture also improved, my fingers stopped flaking/peeling and the cracks in the joined areas healed. Its fragrance free, a rich but not overly greasy texture and comes in a tube and pump forms for convenience. A Holy Grail product in every way. Whenever my hands want to act up and start an eczema riot I reach for this stuff and all is well.
