The inkey list snow mushroom moisturiser🍄 RATING - 3/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sephora AU - AUD$15 Ingredients:👩‍🔬 0.3% Tremella fuciformis extract (snow mushroom) provides a cooling effect on the skin 2% Amino acid based humectanthelps to hydrate and moisturise skin 0.2% Madecassoside (centella) with anti-itching, anti-redness properties - @theinkeylist Experience:💁‍♀️ This one was interesting. It’s a very thick occlusive gel texture (a lot thicker than say the iunik centella calming gel cream). I personally found it a bit sticky and tacky too idk if that’s just me though. My skin type is normal and I’m acne prone so when I shop for products I mainly look for the beneficial ingredients as I can handle most textures. However, I just didn’t love how this sat on my skin unfortunately. I used this in the AM and layered sunscreen on top which there wasn’t a problem in doing so. Is this moisturiser necessarily bad? No, in fact I did enjoy the slight cooling sensation and you can put it in the fridge for an additional cooling sensation. It did the job of a moisturiser but I didn’t see any reduction in redness which is a claim about the benefits of snow mushroom. I did have high hopes for this one though as I know it is a favourite of @adamrobertlamb but they’re many other inkey list products I love anyway including their hemp oil moisturiser! Will I repurchase?💸 Probably not as it wasn’t quite right for me but that doesn’t mean it won’t necessarily work for you! Go check out Adam’s videos as to why he loves it!
