NEOGEN DERMALOGY REAL BAKUCHIOL FIRMING SERUM 💜 ⭐️ Bakuchiol is a plant extract packed with antioxidant and anti-aging properties. It is the gentle alternative for Retinol which has less risk of irritation and harsh effects. Benefits: - Reduces fine lines and wrinkles. - Increases cell turnover and skin brightness - Impoves the appearance of enlarged pores and skin elasticity. Experience: I have never included any Retinol products on my routine because I’m scared of its possible side effects but this bakuchiol is very intriguing. Since this is my first time to use a retinol alternative serum, I can say that its good for beginners and sensitive skin types. It has a purple translucent and viscous texture with a scent that I don’t mind. On my first week of usage, I only used it for 3 nights to introduced it to my skin. Luckily, I didn’t experience any adverse reaction but whenever I woke up the next day, I felt that it made my skin dry. So I asked my friend what she does to prevent it, she suggest to do a sandwich method (hydrating toners, bakuchiol serum and a very good moisturizer), so I did. I was so excited on my 2nd week of usage that I decided to incorporate it on both AM & PM routines and it gave me that radiant and smooth skin texture. I’m on my 3rd week of usage and I still cannot vouch for the anti-aging benefits as it has to be use for a more period of time so I will still continue & finish this bottle to see the other claims of it.
