My review today is for the Night Cream. 💖 What is it? The AHA 8.0 Night Cream is a hypoallergenic peeling cream that chemically exfoliates through the night, revealing softer, whiter and firmer skin. It relieves the skin of dead skin cells and promotes a healthier skin barrier. It has both AHA and BHA for double effect, with AHA effecting the outer dermis to exfoliate and BHA to effect the inner dermis to remove clogged pores and regulate sebum. The AHA 8.0 Night cream delicately balances the amount of acids vs the efficacy to ensure that optimal effect can be achieved with minimal irritation. With their advanced testing and trials, that concentration is balanced at 8% to ensure optimal effects over time with no skin irritation. This cream contains unripe apple extract, which compared to ripe apples, has 10x more polyphenol, which is a powerful antioxidant. Other ingredients include: - Sugar cane and fruit extracts for AHA - Willow Bark extract for BHA - Different mushroom extracts for improving immunity, relieving skin inflammation as well as anti-aging properties - Niacinamide and Sodium Hyaluronate for brightening and moisturising effects. 💖 My experience I tried this for a month, primarily because I don’t use it everyday. The recommendation was 2 - 3 times a week and so I used it once every 2 -3 days. But the effect was as quick as a week of usage. The mornings after I use this cream, it feels like my skin has gone through a spa treatment. It is incredibly soft, the pores look diminished and it just feels like new skin. It is this effect that I’m addicted to! The cream texture is creamy but not heavy. It is lovely and lighted naturally scented like fresh apples, which I absolutely love. It makes it such a pleasure to use. It goes on as the last step in my PM routine and I usually do my routine after evening shower, so it does have a good few hours to absorb before I go to bed. There is no transference to my pillowcase, so I know it is completely absorbed. The lovely experience of using it is amplified further because of how luxe the packaging is - I do feel like I’m pampering myself. This has become a HG night cream for that 2 - 3 times a week.
