♡ Texture: Slightly cloudy runny gel, light-weight and is alcohol-free ♡ Fragrance: None at all 😊 , similar to the smell of an unscented lotion. ♡ Main Hero Ingredients and Claims: - 8 different types of Hyaluronic Acid (to increase water retention & keeps the skin more hydrated) - Elder Flower Extract (anti-inflammatory, evens out the skin tone & balance oil levels) - Liquorice Extract (soothes redness/irritation, de-puffing, brightening & has healing properties) ♡ On my very dry & sensitive skin: I went in with no expectations because I was still a bit apprehensive about buying a gel cleanser for my skin type but it had ingredients that I wanted to explore. And guess what ? It did not disappoint! 🥰 As a morning cleanse after a night with some heavy duty creams, it left my skin feeling....soft and normal 😳, it didn't feel hydrated but it wasn't dried out either. I figured maybe this was what it meant by "water/oil balanced levels". My skin felt clean with no residue and so my toner & essence absorbed faster than usual. Very happy with that! On nights where my skin was feeling itchy, this helped a lot with calming the irritation down but I've yet to witness any de-puffing action. No problem with using it as a second cleanser either ,no tight feeling and no flaky skin! But this gentle formula is not effective at removing foundation or lipstick so I'd recommend this for those makeup free days. If you're new to non foaming cleansers then this one could be something to start to you off with since it's lighter than some other ones and it will still let you have that " clean " feeling. I prefer this on days where it's humid and hot as this doesn't feel as heavy as the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. Packaging is very pretty ,a nice bluish shade and lovely to have on the shelf! It looks more fun and not as serious as the Liquorice Line. ♡ Would I Repurchase? Yes but for summer only (won't be hydrating enough in winter) as it's lighter & helps with calming irritations such as pollen for me. Normal & combi beauties or anyone who prefers a cleanser with no thrills will really enjoy this.
