SKIN1004 - DMcC review for Madagascar Centella Tone Brightening Boosting Toner

I received this product for free from Picky and SKIN1004 in exchange for my honest review. As with all my previous experience with SKIN1004 products, it takes some time to work out how to use it and notice results. But once you use them consistently, you become hooked on the products! I started using the toner daily for a few days in a row before I noticed my forehead getting shiny. No need to compromise my skin barrier with over exfoliation so I scaled it back to a few times a week. That seems to be the sweet spot but I can continue adjusting to see what my skin likes best. With this cica-based toner, you notice the exfoliation benefits within days and there are no drying effects as with other products that include some chemical exfoliation capabilities. I have missed having a toner in my skincare routine and this one fits in well with my current line up. I experienced no irritation, stinging or burning so I would say this is a gentle and calming formula, suitable for those with sensitive skin. It contains a vitamin C derivative so use your sunscreen in the daytime.
