Is this an ampoule? Is this a serum? Is this an essence? I don't care, it's ALL THE SAME ANYWAY!!! What I know though, is that this product is a HOLY GRAIL for my skin!! Trust me I have tried A LOT of cica skincare and I can confidently say that this one is one of the best I've ever used! 👀PACKAGING : like all The Potions' ampoules, this centella essence comes in a sturdy 20ml frosted glass with a dropper. 💦TEXTURE : this is a slightly aqueous liquid. In short, this is a serum texture. Idk why the brand decided to call it an "essence". Anyway, I apply this "essence" immediately after my toner. A little goes a long way but obviously it depends on your skin condition. 💙HYDRATING and PLUMPING : this is pretty hydrating, I was pleasantly surprised!!! If you're the type that don't wanna multiply products in your skincare routine, this one is awesome because is it a 2-in-one, hydrating AND soothing ampoule. 🧘SOOTHING : YES! Definitely soothing and calming! I don't have huge inflammation or problematic skin but I like to use this ampoule to get rid of redness and to calm my skin after a long day at work or running errands outside. The texture is always super refreshing and very pleasant to apply! A few drops are enough to sooth and hydrate my whole face. 🥵CALMS REDNESS : I often have some redness at the end of the day, so I generously apply this ampoule on my face at night before my moisturizer AND THEN I wake up with with a clear and even skin tone and a well rested face. I think using this ampoule consistently will help calm redness on the long term. 🎤MY EXPERIENCE : I REALLY LOVE this ampoule because it does everything my skin loves: soothes, calms redness, hydrates and plumps. Every time I apply this ampoule I can see how well rested and plump my skin looks. It is an ideal product not use under a cica cream to maximize each other effectiveness. I really recommend The Potions' Centella Water Essence to everyone wanting a refreshing calming serum. This is Holy Grail level to me!👍🏼🏆💕
