My skin often gets irritated or inflamed from my daily life whether it’s going to the beach or from some of the skincare products that I test out. This is definitely calming for my skin and has a little thicker texture than a regular toner that it’s just enough to make my skin feel more comforted. This also helps to reduce some of the redness that is prevalent in my skin, but I will have to give mugwort the win in which I feel is superior for my redness. ~ HC Extract (Heartleaf): Heartleaf extract can have many great benefits for the skin from being anti-inflammatory, soothing, and being a great antioxidant. Goodal specifically harvests their HC during April-June where it’s supposed to have a higher quercetin level to be better for the skin. They also cold press their leaves to keep the natural active ingredients at their best. 🪴 Final Conclusion: I really like this essence and I do think it brings nice calming benefits for my skin and do enjoy having HC in my routine. If you haven’t tried a product with HC extract this is a great product to see if it works great with your skin because of the high concentration. I recommend this for all skin types and think it’s a great essence for those that don’t already have one in their routine.
