Since I have an oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin with stubborn acne scars, I am more than excited to receive and try these brightening products from Mary & May in hopes to lighten my acne scars as well as to give my complexion a healthy brightening boost. ✨ [ Niacinamide + Chaenomeles Sinensis Serum ] Infused with 2% Niacinamide and 93% Chaenomeles Sinensis Fruit Extract, it brightens up dull and unbalanced skin while keeping the skin moist. Key Ingredients: 🤎 Niacinamide: lightens skin by inhibiting the transfer of melanosomes & regulates sebum production for balanced skin. 🤎 Chaenomeles Sinensis Fruit Extract: rich in Vitamin C and Flavonoids which can help achieve a smooth, radiant skin appearance. I use it in my PM routine. It has a transparent, light brownish colour. Texture-wise, it feels lightweight and watery on the skin, without any sticky or greasy residue. I have to say 2% Niacinamide actually feels better and gentler on my skin compared to those with higher percentage. I experience no irritation at all, and surprisingly it works well instead! As I personally find it effective in reducing the oiliness on my skin as well as my annoying breakouts. I can see how it supports my skin barrier, and my skin definitely feels healthier upon application.
