The texture is a clear, slimy gel. As for the smell, I feel there is a very faint citrus smell. This cleansing gel produces foam, but not too much. So it's still enough to clean the entire surface of the face. The foam feels very soft when touching the face even though it is not a dense foam type. The foam also dissolves easily with water and doesn't leave a slippery residue on the face, so you don't have to rinse off with lots of water. What I like about this cleansing gel is that it really doesn't make the skin feel dry and tight after using it. The cleaning power is also quite good. If you only use a light powder at home, I can just use this for double cleansing.
