— Let’s talk about @cocokind ‘s Silk SPF 30! ☀️ This is a hybrid sunscreen with Zinc Oxide 10.5% (mineral filter UVA/UVB rays) and Homosalate 10% (chemical filter UVB rays). This also contains Banana Blossom — rich in polysaccharides to hydrate and retain moister to support the skin barrier. — alcohol, fragrance, & essential-oil free! My thoughts & experience ✨ * To start off I just want to say how much I love @cocokind ‘s values. Their transparency and their efforts on being accountable about their carbon footprint really makes me feel good using their products. It’s also worth mentioning that this brand is Asian owned by the one and only Priscilla Tsai (Founder&CEO). #aapiheritagemonth 🤍 * Now let’s get on with the SPF review! MY positives: lightweight, no white cast, VERY hydrating, no eye sting, no scent, glowy finish at first but dries down to almost nothing, and great under makeup. 😍 MY negatives: takes time to blend, wishing it was higher the spf30, some pilling so i really have to wait a while for my moisturizer to soak in before applying this. * Overall, I will continue using this due to the amazing formula (it just feels so nice on the skin) possibly indoors. However, I may not reach for it often due to some pilling. Do you have any suggestions to prevent sunscreens from pilling?
