COSRX Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask ◈ Targeted to ◈ -Soothe -Nourish -Moisturize -For All Skin Types ◈ Claims ◈ The Cosrx Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask is a mask containing 87% propolis extract and natural beeswax designed to soothe, calm and moisturize the skin overnight. It can be used as an overnight mask, wash-off mask, or even as a cream. ◈ Consistency ◈ This definitely has a translucent gel consistency which really surprised me when I first used it since I was expecting a thick cream for some reason. When applied it feels cooling and silky soft. ◈ How to use ◈ 1. As a sleeping mask- As the last step of the skincare routine, apply an adequate amount to the entire face. 2. As a wash off mask- Apply a generous amount and spread out evenly. After about 15 minutes, wash off with lukewarm water or wipe off with toner. 3. As a cream- After the last step of your skin care routine, apply as a cream. My thoughts: ◈ Scent ◈ As far as scent is concerned this has absolutely zero fragrance. I have worn it many times and have never noticed any kind of scent from this product and even (very aggressively) smelled the bottle to see if I could detect anything... nada. Definitely great for those who do not like scented products. ◈ Packaging ◈ So from what I can tell they have revamped their packaging since this used to come in a tub. I really appreciate that they have put it in a squeeze tube to keep it more hygienic and in my opinion easier to apply. I also hate trying to shove a huge tub in my skincare bag and this is much more convenient to store. There isn’t anything too fancy about it but it serves its job and that seems to be what all of cosrx’s packaging is like. ◈ Experience ◈ So when I was on the hunt for my first sleeping mask it came down to this one and the Laneige sleeping mask. Now we all know how popular the Laneige one is but the price on this product just couldn’t be beat. I wasn’t expecting a miracle; just a little extra moisture. Man was I shocked! From the second I put this on my skin I was In love. From the moment I first put it on it makes my skin feel silky soft and gives a slight cooling effect (I suspect that’s because of the gel texture). Then once it absorbs my skin feels super plump and hydrated which is my favorite feeling on this planet. The best part of this mask is the effects I see in the morning. My skin looks AMAZING!! I mean I was completely shocked when I woke up and looked in the mirror and my skin was so plump and smooth. Closely resembling a baby buttox 😆. It truly is just an amazing product and I pretty much use this every single night. I haven’t tried too many sleeping masks and while I usually hate giving products the HG title before trying other similar products, I honestly feel that this one will be tough to beat especially for its affordable pricing. ◈ Overall rating: 5/5 ◈ This is my go to overnight mask. I honestly doubt there is another one that I’ll love this much. But I’m always open to try more 😝. Would I repurchase?? I already have my backups ready to order!!
