🔹 PURITO Dermide Relief Barrier Moisturiser I received this product for free from Picky and PURITO in exchange for my honest review. 🔹 Price Point: ~S$30 for 100ml Not the most affordable, but still reasonably priced 🔹 Key Ingredients: Ceramide NP, Ceramide NS, Ceramide AS, Ceramide AP, Ceramide EOP 🔹 Brand Claims: 5 different types of ceramides at 5,000 ppm for a healthy skin barrier and to help with redness 🔹 Does the science back it?: Yes, ceramides have been shown to strengthen skin barrier, however, we lack studies showing optimum concentration and ratio of ceramide types used. Tldr; the 5 types present in this purito moisturiser, nor the 5000ppm, does not necessarily mean its better than other ceramide creams 🔹 Texture: This is a nourishing moisturiser with a creamy texture — I was a little apprehensive that this moisturiser would be a little too thick for my oily skin type, but I was pleasantly surprised, as it was absorbed really quickly by my skin, and left my skin with a slight bounce. 🔹 Thoughts: I really enjoyed the luscious and nourishing texture of this cream. Despite having oily skin, this moisturiser did not feel heavy or clogging on my skin. I use this as a nighttime moisturiser, and every morning, my skin feels noticeably softer and smoother. The air pump also makes it really nice and convenient to dispense. On top of this, I really need to shoutout PURITO’s sustainability efforts — it really is very commendable as all aspects of its production have been thoughtfully examined to reduce our impact. I really appreciate the details — from using recycled paper not just in the packaging, but even the packaging tape and paper box are biodegradable as well.
