I have been using this toner off and on, and so far I think it’s doing a good job! According to their site, this essence-like toner is to help achieve a healthy skin barrier, providing hydration, calming skin; and supporting skin barrier without feeling heavy. Key ingredients include D-Panethol (2%), Green Tea Extract (1%), 3 Mushroom Complex, Cica Complex, and Arginine & Beta-Glucan. It’s suitable for all skin types, especially for those with sensitive and easily irritated skin. I love that the brand focuses on ingredients and science - actually finding the most effective formulation without colorants, animal-derived ingredients, parabens, etc. NOW — about the product: There is no fragrance… yay! Really no fragrance at all… not even a natural fragrance. So this is great for those who are sensitive to scent in their personal care products. And, again it’s an essence-like toner: it’s a bit “thicker” than your usual toner, but a tad bit more liquidy compared to serum. It’s a very nice consistency! I have been using this product for about 2-3 months, and I am satisfied so far! My skin is going through this weird transformation in which most days it’s the usual oiliness, but on a rare day, it can be so dry! And this toner was a lifesaver during both times: I especially liked using this when my breakouts are out and about because it did not irritate them even more. And during the days my skin would be dry, it added a boost of hydration it needed. It also helped reduce any redness especially after applying a sheet or face mask, or if I am trying out a new skincare product. I have yet to finish my entire bottle before I can judge if its 4 or 5 stars, but for now it’s a 4!
