Hydra Barrier Cica Essence Toner
π§ Formula:
Baciel's essence toner falls more on the sade of essence than toner. It is quite viscous, and that's not a bad thing. It us much easier yo control when applying than a watery toner. This product hits the sweet spot of being thin enough to spread and absorb quickly, and just thick enough to not drip and run down your neck.
This product wears well under sunscreen and makeup. It did not upset my skin during rigorous exercise.
The unscented 83% cica formula boasts powerful calming and repairing qualities, backed by niacinamide, 10(!) Different forms of hyaluronic acid and amino acids as well.
This is a powerhouse healing product perfect for tired, dry or overexfoliated skin.
A+
π± Sustainability:
The bottle is simple, clear matte plastic with a twist-off cap. It is packaged in a simple cardboard box with no unnecessary paper or plastic. The bottle is sturdy enough to be re-used, or recycled.

The bottle stands up on its own, and can be opened with one hand. A flip-cap would be more accessible, but this is not bad design at all. I can dispense the intended amount of product easily thanks to a reducer cap inside the bottle. The reducer also prevents major spills if the bottle is tipped over.
I like that the company has a 3D embossed logo on the package, this can help blind users identify the product and brand.

Formula: depending on if you are sensitive to higher concentrations of niacinamide, this may take some getting used to, but the formula is effective.
Sustainability: The outer card packaging could possibly be printed with soy ink for easier recycling.
Accessibility: Having Braille writing would make this product A+ accessible.
