Hello peeps!!! If you guys didn't know, this is my first time ever trying out a product from Beplain which is undoubtedly one of the most raged products among skincare lovers! And I'm so glad I jumped into the bandwagon as well!! The product I received was Beplain Cicaful Calming Clay Mask. As a clay mask lover, I've tried some good ones out there and one of my most favourite was the AXIS-Y Mugwort Pore Clarifying Wash Off Pack. It helped my skin so much, I restocked on it the moment I emptied one. It was such a gem! One of the reasons why I like clay masks, though they can be messy, is the effectiveness and obvious effects they have on my skin. Just leave it on for a good few minutes and after rinsing everything off, Walla, I'm greeted by a radiant and cleaner-looking complexion in the mirror! Ooh, I just love how simply wonderful clay masks can be! They're like a girl's best friend or should I say, a skin's best friend? Before I go into my review, I want to write about this lovely brand that I learnt about in this year😂😂😂 Yep, I'm actually new to this brand, hehehe. So what is Beplain? Essential, simple, clean. Okay guys, let's dive into my review which will be on Watsons Malaysia x Beplain's latest co-creation project: The Cicaful Calming Clay Mask!! Also, I'm so excited to finally own a Beplain product 😂 ☘️About Beplain Cicaful Calming Clay Mask: This lightweight clay mask is formulated with an easy-to-wash texture that delivers a gentle cooling sensation to keep the skin soothed with 49.5% Centella Asiatica Extract and Cica Powder. Its clay-like texture also contains visible particles of volcanic ash and charcoal powder to absorb excess sebum and pore-clogging impurities to prevent the formation of breakouts. Lastly, it's proven safe for sensitive skin types as it completed its skin irritation test. ☘️Key Ingredients: 49.5% Centella Asiatica Extract and Cica Powder👉Helps to reduce skin aging, moisturize, soothe and speed up healing, helping to prevent scarring and prevent future blemishes. Kaolin👉A clay mineral that soaks up excess sebum and removes impurities from skin. Volcanic ash👉Rich in minerals and is used as an antioxidant and antibacterial exfoliant that helps to clarify the skin. Charcoal Powder👉Helps to remove impurities and dirt from the skin thus, improving its texture and appearance. ☘️Texture: The paste has a slight greenish colour and a clay-like texture which contains visible particles of volcanic ash and charcoal powder. Once applied on the skin, it gives off a soothing sensation and yes, the clay mask does dry up within 5-10 minutes. ☘️Packaging: The Cicaful Calming Clay Mask comes in a white cardboard unit carton, with a smooth matte finish. It has a rather simple print design with the 'Cicaful' wording in green colour and a green coloured outline of a circle on the front. The Beplain Wording is found at the top of the carton and instructions in Eng-Kor on one side and on the back. Everything on this carton is printed with soy ink. The carton is of good material quality despite the minimalistic packaging. So at first glance, it wouldn't occur to me that this was a luxury brand if I was unfamiliar with it. Opening the carton up, the Cicaful Calming Clay Mask comes in a green coloured plastic tube with a flip-type cap. The overall packaging has a nice matte finish and the print matches the unit carton. I like how there's a nice cohesiveness to the packaging and i didn't experience any issues with its packaging. The clay mask dispenses from the output hole nicely too. Lastly, the tube is lightweight and I find it perfect to bring on vacations. ☘️Scent: It has a fragrant scent. I can't be specified about it but it smells refreshing and pleasant to me. ☘️Who is Beplain Cicaful Calming Clay Mask for? All skin types. (¯`·._.·Personal Experiences·._.·´¯) This was really my first time trying out the latest product co-created by Watson's and Beplain. As this is a Cica clay mask, I didn't know what to expect as I've never heard of or used a Cica clay mask. Now, the Beplain Cicaful Calming Clay Mask claimed to soothe troubled skin and excess sebum. Having oily skin myself, God knows just how much I longed for to solve that annoying issue! So, I had high hopes for this clay mask!!! Interestingly enough, this Beplain Cicaful Calming Clay Mask contains two of my favourite ingredients; Centella Asiatica Extract and Cica Powder. These amazing and powerful duos work together to create a cleaner and more radiant skin free from sebum and dirt. On the first day I tried it, I squeezed out an appropriate amount and applied it to my face. Within seconds, I could feel the Cicaful Calming Clay Mask working its magic into my skin. I also felt that instant so-soothing sensation. After a few minutes, the clay mask dried up and rinsing it off wasn't difficult to do. Soon enough, I was greeted by a cleaner, brighter and fresher-looking complexion in the mirror. No more dull skin or oily-looking skin! Moreover, I found it so helpful in dealing with new breakouts. Girl, my heart thumped with joy! This was definitely my ideal clay mask and it did not fail me at all. What I loved about it was not just its amazing performance but also its powerful ingredients which packed a punch, specifically the use of Volcanic ash, Centella Asiatica Extract and Cica Powder in its formula. Most clay masks would make our skin dry after constant usage but using this Cicaful Calming Clay Mask constantly didn't dry out my skin. Again, I was amazed and this was probably due to the use of Hyaluronic acid which helped to hydrate skin. This Cicaful Calming Clay Mask is lit! There was nothing I disliked about it. If I were to rate it on a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5 on everything. It didn't fail me and was absolutely what I looked for in a good clay mask! Ratings of 5/5 stars!
