Hinarushi review for I Heart Revolution Tasty Coconut Lip Gloss

This lip gloss comes in three available shades, I got the Coconut Cookie one, which looks like a warm toned caramel shade on the camera, although in reality it is more cool toned. The formula offers a decent colour payoff and smells divine, like dried coconut flakes which I love. The formula is rich, onctuous and glides nicely on the lips. It tends to stay on top of the lips rather than sinking into the skin, so it forms a layer of gloss on top. I recommend applying this gloss on slightly moist lips, in order to lock in that hydration. The applicator is doe foot shaped and allows for an easy application and distribution. I find it pretty comfortable to wear, despite being a little bit sticky. I enjoy using this lip gloss more during colder weather. Overall, I prefer this lip gloss over NYX's cult Butter Gloss, both of which I find comparable. Whereas my lips sometimes sting when I apply the NYX one, I experienced less of this issue with the this product - my lips react to Phenoxyethanol present in different amounts in lip products. I also enjoy the coconut scent more than the vague vanilla one. I got this for £3-4 pounds for 2.2ml via Amazon UK. It's a nice gloss to try out if you're on the market for an affordable and fun lip gloss.
