It took me a while but I eventually realised that Tremella is actually Snow Fungus, an ingredient I love in traditional Chinese desserts! Snow fungus has long been regarded as a natural beauty ingredient because of its high collagen content and one of history’s most beautiful women, Yang Guifei was said to have consumed this regularly for its beautifying properties! The toner itself is slightly more viscous than water and is slightly slimy at first touch but melts into water and is absorbed quickly and easily. As it glides on my skin, it leaves a cooling sensation and leaves my skin soft and smooth. It’s so hydrating that I don’t even have to layer it twice and even after using it for only two weeks, my skin is visibly plumper and clearer.
