SashaMoon review for The Giving Essence

In 2022 Soko Glam had a fundraiser for Stop AAPI Hate and for a donation of around $50-$65 you got a branded tote bag with 3 full sized products including The Giving Essence. I believe all proceeds went to nonprofits working against attacks against AAPIs and the community generally but maybe it wasn’t 100%. Either way it was a great deal and I wouldn’t have bought this essence otherwise because its expensive and I already have some higher priced HGs in my daily line up. The ingredient the description focuses on is derived from fermented sake. A million years ago I used Skinfood’s peach sake line and it pales in comparison to The Giving Essence! Now I’m considering buying The Giving Essence at full price and am looking out for the next TIMY family and friends event. The liquid is slightly thicker than water but closer to water than a serum. 2 drops on Rael cotton covered my whole face, absorbed quickly, and my skin looked and felt plumper after using it even before serum or moisturizer. It’s also a great base for vitamin C powder like Neogen’s. More than anything, it softened my skin in a really nice way. I also love the packaging! Its a glass bottle with a really solid weight behind it and the blue to magenta ombre is lovely. It would be great to reuse the bottle but I can’t think of what for.
