Texture: This has a lightweight, slightly creamy texture and has an offwhite color.
Usage: I used about 5-6 drops daily in the AM and PM (that's about half the pipette)
Packaging: Brown coloured glass bottle with a dropper. Bottle is quite opaque but you can see the amount of product left.
Claims: Brightens and evens out skin, helps pigmentation caused by acne or sun damage.
Alcohol/EOs/Colors/Fragrance: Yes/No/No/Yes
This is an expensive one for sure and I only got it because my dermatologist recommended it. The marketing says that the product has active ingredients encapsulated in liposomes to obtain deeper penetration and enhance effectiveness.
Some commonly known ingredients in the serum are Azelaic acid, Bellis Perennis Extract (Daisy Flower, which works as tyrosinase inhibitors), tranexamic acid, Retinol encapsulated in liposomes, Niacinamide, vitamin C in the form of Ascorbyl Glucoside, and morus alba extract (white mulberry) which serve as depigmentors and antioxidants.
I did enjoy the texture and the packaging was nice, but I was hoping for better results with the great infredient list and derm recommendation. It just wasn't the product for me. But it did not cause any irritation on my face even when I was going through a cycle of terrible pustules and cysts. So, my resilient skin saw no issues with the alcohol and the fragrance in this product
Unfortunately, I didn't notice much difference after using it consistently for a few months. I had high hopes because of the hype and the price but it didn't work out as expected. I was hoping that it would help with the pigmentation issue on my face but it did nothing. My skin felt soft but it didn't brighten or even out. I think this could be because of my skin type or maybe the product just didn't work for me.
I will not be repurchasing it since it is so pricey and did not work for me.
