This Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara is richly pigmented and the formula itself is on the slightly drier side which I actually prefer as it does not overload the brush which provides a mess free application. It is easily buildable with zero clumping, flaking or smudging, dries quickly and leaves lashes feeling soft and lightweight. It initially has a very subtle fragrance but this dissipates quickly and doesn't cause irritation. The tapered wand benefits from densely packed fibre bristles which hug each lash depositing an even coat of product from root to tip providing length, volume and definition. It also helped to lift and curl my lashes which gave a more wide eyed look which I really liked. I found this mascara remained looking freshly applied all day and as previously mentioned, it doesn't flake which is great for someone with sensitive eyes, nor did I find it caused any stinging which some mascaras can. It was easy and quick to remove at the end of the day with a regular cleanser. Overall this is a good everyday mascara which effectively made my naturally sparse, straight lashes look more defined in just two quick coats, as such, I would certainly consider repurchasing this product in future.
