gel texture, but the tiniest bit gives a ton of foam, it’s a thick dense foam I would more expect from a creamier formula. Has a very pleasant herbal scent, and does a fantastic job at leaving my skin feeling clean, without drying or stripping it. Even though this has oil, I still use as a 2nd cleanse, it’s aloe based with; Manuka honey, calendula flower oil, and coffee seed extract. At about $30 for 190ml this is a cleanser I absolutely recommend
