It has two different kinds of clay which help to remove impurities, sebum like blackheads and even brighten your skin. It's formulated with shea 🧈 butter, vitamin c derivatives but also with all the awesome oils we like jojoba seed oil, argan oil, 🫒 olive oil, and gosh more here, contains squalane, ceramides, collagen and natural ☘️ plant extracts. So, user experience wise: (1) Yes, it removes all my makeup including the many layers of pesky waterproof mascara very effectively. Somehow it feels like the balm has a low melting point to it turns to oil very quickly as you massage it in. I noticed even on very 🥵 days in Singapore that the balm melted some what... This means less friction from removing your 💄 makeup. I did find I need to ensure I really go in a massage the areas where my makeup is thicker otherwise some mascara remnants are leftover whenever I become 🦥 lazy. (2) It leaves a very oily residue so a second cleanser is definitely necessary in my opinion. But it doesn't strip my skin which is a plus.
