DanielleSkin27 review for Collagen Lip Bath - Pillow Talk

First of all, I actually love the color Pillow Talk in this gloss. This particular color is said to be a lot of peoples’ perfect nude color, but I have such a hard time finding the perfect nude lip color so I had doubts it would work for me. But it really is my perfect nude (I have tried the lipstick as well and it also looks great). The plumping effect that this gloss is supposed to have is almost non-existent though. It’s minty and tingly upon application and does make lips look ever so slightly plump and fuller for about 5 minutes, but that’s about it. The rest of the time you are wearing it it’s just a nice regular gloss. I do like the gloss formula, it feels nourishing but not sticky or greasy. However, the applicator for this is the worst. It’s cute with the little heart shape at the end, but it is not practical and actually makes the product harder to apply. It’s hard to get enough product onto the applicator and hard to apply evenly. Whoever approved this applicator was only thinking of aesthetics, not functionality. Overall, it’s a really great color for me and I do like the formula, but the applicator drives me so crazy that I would think twice before I repurchased.
