It’s like an extremely thick, pearlescent formula without any water or hydration ingredients in it. It does not have any noticeable scent or fragrance. The concept is great. It’s a unique suspension of pure Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C in its purest form) in a waterless formula delivered in airtight container to prevent the Ascorbic Acid from oxidizing quickly and losing efficacy. Per the Wishtrend website, the product is stabilized with the help of a bio-ferment extract which is then suspended in a biolipid base to prevent activation until you need it. It also contains Ferulic Acid which is also known for reducing and preventing redness and discoloration. I think the product is great for the right person, especially someone with dry skin. It comes down to a matter of preference. For me, I felt this product was very heavy and I worried it would make me break out. I could only wear this at night because it feels too heavy to apply during the day along with sunscreen and makeup. It does absorb and makes your skin feel dewy, but it takes a while. Ideally the product is applied onto damp skin after cleansing. The pure encapsulated vitamin C can also dissolve in any water-based toner or serum applied beforehand. Long term use would be needed to notice any significant changes in skin tone. It contains Ferulic Acid which is another antioxidant that is beneficial for preventing and fading discoloration (dark spots or redness).
