Soy Milk Moisture UV Base SPF 40 PA+++
This a mineral based UV and supposed to have sebum absorbing powder and skin tone correcting properties. It along with their other products contains concentrated soymilk ferment i.e. isoflavones. It's also marketed as a 6 in 1 product - toner, serum, emulsion, cream, makeup base and sunscreen. 💪🏻
The texture is wonderful. It's super gel like texture feels luxurious upon application and the the colour corrector was just right. And... That's about it.
Ohhhh I wanted to love this empty but now I'm heartbroken 💔. SANA is my favourite soybean based skin care brand and I was excited to start their Soybean UV Makeup Base SPF 40 PA +++.
It was super hard to make it blend out and it ends up looking streaky 🤡 for the most part and when I finally got it to blend (after rubbing very long) it just "catches" into the folds of my skin e.g. eye lids, broken skin etc. And the colour is very there because it was difficult to blend in. I won't say it gave a white cast but it gave a beige cast! And like many other Japanese sunscreen, not 🚫 water resistant 💦 resistant at all.
I have to give this one a miss. Much sadness. 😭
