It is applied as easily as a cream, very soft. It does not dry hard like other clays. I would say don't wait too long though. I apply it after 10-15 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. I couldn't believe the effect when I first used it. My skin was very calm. And it was gently cleansed. I keep it in the fridge for a few minutes before using it, it cools it down I like the product very much, but the cleaning performance may not make you happy, more like a calming mask.
