This shade of red reminds me of poppy flowers! It feels like lip gloss when I’m applying it to my lips, but without the stickiness. It has a really pretty shine to it. I find that after a few hours the shiny glossiness has faded away, but I do retain a nice reddened look that feels like a “your lips but better” matte shade for the rest of the day. The applicator is soft and thin, making it easy to apply, and it’s quite moisturizing on the lips. I received this product for free from Picky in exchange for my honest review.
