Aloe Vera and Snail Soothing Gel
I have to say, despite the overwhelming positive reviews that this product enjoyed, I honestly think, based on my experience, that it's an average product at best. But if we're talking about the positives, I'd say that this product makes a good day moisturizer. It's consistency is also quite suitable for the hot weather since it sinks in easily due to it being a gel product. When it comes to the price, it's quite affordable, considering the size of this thing, IT'S MASSIVE and would definitely last long. So if you're a student on a budget looking for an affordable moisturizer, then this might be the one for you.
Now onto the negatives and I have a lot of gripes when it comes to this product. First, is the fragrance. IT SMELLS STRONG. Although I think that some people might find the fragrance fine, there might also be a population of people with sensitive skin that might get a reaction from this gel. Second and its most annoying aspect, is that it is extremely difficult to layer with other products on top of it, and if you do, IT PILLS. I tried layering it for a double moisturizer step for the evenings with an occlusive on top but it just turned into a clumpy mess. It's like this moisturizer left a film on my skin that once you put products after it, it kind of becomes a peeling gel instead with how much product clumps appeared in my face. Lastly, it's not moisturizing enough, at least in my case. My face always felt dehydrated whenever I put this product on even though I tried my best to layer it several times, and trust me it's a lot.
In summary, this product was a huge disappointment for me😞
