Benetint Cheek & Lip Stain

🌷 Buildable color
🌷 Rose scent
🌷 Cute packaging

This is a classic product that definitely does what you need it to do! This is a true stain with a texture identical to water which quickly sinks into the lips or skin and leaves behind a sheer, buildable cool-toned rosy pink color. I best like to use it underneath a clear balm or gloss just to add some flush to my lips. One thing that I do love about this product specifically is its rose scent- it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and I find it very charming. :^) The packaging is also a very cute vanity piece.
🍂 Too expensive for a water tint
🍂 Drying when used alone
🍂 Applies unevenly as a blush

The reason I can't rate this that highly is because it's just too expensive for what it is. Nowadays you can find great water stains for a fifth of the price, especially from Korean brands (ETUDE's Dear Darling Water Tint is the first that comes to mind!) The large size also has a brush applicator that I find trickier to use than the smaller version's doefoot. Because of its watery texture, this can also be very drying on its own, so you'll definitely want to moisturize over top most of the time. I don't find it to be as long-lasting as they claim, but it will of course last longer than a typical non-staining lip color. It's also advertised to be usable as a cheek stain, and I know many do like to use it like this, but I find it very tricky to work with that way- the color can stain unevenly on skin and you don't have much time to work with it because it's so thin. I don't personally recommend it for use as a blush.
