Glossy lip balms are my favorite kind of lip product, so I was super duper excited to try this product from Amuse! I bought a mini kit that contained the shades Ballerina, Boksoonga Balm, and Dew Rose so that I could try out a few different colors. Unfortunately, I was left pretty disappointed by them. π
I will say that I do like the Dew Rose shade! If you like one of the deeper shades in the range, then it may be worth a try, since they seem to show up a bit better. I was also worried they may have too strong of a scent since I've heard that said about Amuse's Dew Tints, but the sweet scent is very very subtle and didn't bother me.
π Very, VERY sheer pigment
π Unpleasant taste
π Not nearly as glossy as ads
π Poor moisturization

These tinted lip balms have VERY sheer color. Like, in the swatch photo I attached, I had to go over the lines 10+ times to get them to show up that much. The first two shades are hardly noticeable at all on my lips, but Dew Rose is cute and takes less layers for the color to show. For this reason I wouldn't personally recommend the lighter shades. The "dew" factor was also very disappointing- the finish is the same as any ordinary lip balm, and there was no gloss like the model photos advertised.
The formula of these balms is very slippery, which I don't mind, but it gets into your mouth easily and leaves an unpleasant taste behind when it does. Due to how thin the formula feels, it's not very moisturizing either- my lips felt dry shortly after applying it.
I'm really sad that these didn't live up to my expectations, but I'm still interested in trying Amuse's more popular tint products in the future!
