Lorelei review for Clarifying Lotion 1.0 Twice a Day Exfoliator

I'm just going to get this off my chest now - I found the Clarifying Lotion & Exfoliator to be beneath Clinique. Benefits claim it's for dry & combo skin types, and has the additional claims of "Sweeps away pollution, grime, dulling flakes to reveal smoother, clearer skin." but my combo skin was left wanting after using this product. Let's start with the scent. It strongly smells of alcohol. The texture? Water. So much so that I spilled quite a bit the first time I used it. It did remove what the cleanser left behind, and weirdly, did leave my skin feeling moisturized, but the feeling was fleeting. It states that it can be used for the following: Makeup Remover, Face Cleanser, Toner, Moisturizing - however, with the strong alcohol scent, I wouldn't want to use it to remove eye make-up. A few stated ingredients: Water, Alcohol Denat, Witch Hazel, Menthol, Acetyl Glucosamine, Red color #'s 6 & 33, plus Violet 2. Those few ingredients say it all.
