Here it is, in full swing, doin it's thang! The words gentle, deep cleansing, hydrating and sensitive skin rarely are seen together or at least, you never think one product can cater to all of those things. Enter stage left, this badboy! @Garnier's Hydrating Deep Cleanser does it all! As you can see on the micellar reusable ecopad, it makes light work of removing my makeup, removing all traces very quickly and efficiently. Some cleansers will do this at a surface level, but leave your skin still feeling dull. This cleanser really draws out any residual dirt and oil and gives a feeling of a deep and thorough cleanse. My skin felt squealy clean afterwards, without any feeling of tightness. The bods at Garnier have combined hyaluronic acid into this formula to ensure that whilst the deep cleanse is happening, moisture is being locked in and your skin is being hydrated at the same time. The addition of clay is what helps draw out the impurities, whilst the ceramides get to work protecting the skin barrier and helping with water loss. I trialled this over a prolonged period of time, using a double cleanse routine. I definitely noticed an improvement to the surface and appearance of my skin and I would say my pores appeared diminished as well, which was a massive selling point. My skin isn't particularly sensitive, however it did feel gentle and soothed after use so would support the claim of being suitable for sensitive skin. This is of course backed by dermatologists, not just me! It's fragrance free, sulphate free, vegan and cruelty free.
