IL MAKIAGE - AnnaSassin review for Color Boss Multi-Dimensional Squad Eyeshadow

I have the Il Makiage Color Boss Squad Eyeshadow Multidimensional 4-Pan Eye Color Palette in The Real Deal - Luminous. Firstly, the packaging is gorgeous. Very lux looking, with a sleek white box. And even prettier compact. A shiny mirror-like outside that is very elegant. It also has an actual mirror once you open it up. That being said....the actual formulas look nice and pretty. There are four 05 oz pans. They look like velvet to me. The formula is kind of like a cream to powder. I'm not sure if that is how it's supposed to be or not. Once you actually try to use the shadows, they have a really not great application. The color payoff is less than desirable, they were difficult to blend. They were hard to apply. And like I saw on other reviews, they just didn't look that great on my eyes. The shades in my palette are brown and rosy brown. I was really disappointed in them. To top it all off they have a very short life span. I think it's like 6 months.
