Artemisia Squalane Hydra Gel Cream
April Skin Artemisia Squalane Hydra Gel Cream ($28) is the latest craze with a few YouTubers who wanted a glazed Donut Complexion. This clean, fragrance-free cream has a weightless watery gel-like texture that moisturized with infused Squalane deprived from Spanish Olives. Combing the benefits of that with Korean Artemisia--you get a glossy, soothing, hydrating and thirst-quenching cream for dry, irritated & sensitive skin types.
š«Ideally for:
Hydration & protection.
Soothing & gentle.
Balances the pH level
Maintains healthy glow
Anti-inflammatory
Retains moisture
Promotes collagen
Reduces oil/unclogs pores
Revives dull, tired skin
Full of antioxidants
Skin brightening

š«My Experience:
This is one moisturizing cream! It absorbs so quickly into my skin, hydrating within seconds. I like to use it before bed, so I can wake up to a soft, supple texture.
This cream has a texture to it that makes me want to say "oily" but claiming such would be a lie. It's not "sticky" or "greasy," but really moisturizing to the extent it stays on the face for a while.
My pores didn't clog either, which is one of my main concerns considering my pores are very enlarged. It just produces well moisturized & nourishing skin with nothing to compromise it.
ā
What I really loved about this cream was how I could switch between brands back & forth without jeopardizing results. I found that on days that I switch, I don't need a picker-upper to get it working again. (Like a mist or primer) It just works the day I apply, which is very important for my experimental lifestyle! Lol
āThe only negative I could think of would be people not agreeing with the creamy barrier it leaves after application. It's not "greasy" or "oily" but something almost similar. Tolerable but definitely noticeable on the surface of your face. I personally love barrier rich creams but I know certain people are cats to stickiness. Lol
