Pixi Beauty - sparklesandnargles review for Hydrating Milky Serum

I gotta be honest: I really had high expectations about this, bec I am enjoying all the other products in this line. And I actually like the Pixi Glow Tonic Serum that I used some two years ago, but omg... Every time I would use this, my skin would get all RED (hence, the red reference) and splotchy and that never really happens to me 😭 (see the 3rd photo to see what I mean). I wish my cheeks were just naturally red or I was just blushing, but no. I'm actually confused as to why that is happening, and I really tried with this. I don't think I am allergic to any of its ingredients, bec I have used products containing them and I do like them. I even tried using it just on its own, without any other products, but the same thing just happens. It also doesn't hydrate or soothe my skin as it claims. Sucks, but I really can't use this anymore. :( Any products that broke your heart lately?
