Oohladybegood review for Dermalogy Probiotics Youth Repair Cream

This line from NEOGEN really caught my attention as soon as it launched. With Superprobiotics™, 11types of peptides, ceramides and a whole lot of other goodies, this was something that I definitely wanted to try. As a combination skin type of girl, at first I had my eye on the lighter version of this cream but with the winter days coming and my skin developing some dry areas, I thought the Youth Repair Cream was the way to go. As soon as it arrived, I was delighted with the pink package and the mirrored rose gold lid.The packaging definitely looks pretty and somewhat luxurious. The white cream comes protected by an interior lid and smells absolutely delicious! Something like strawberry yogurt but in a way that makes me want to spread it all over my face. The texture is lighter than I thought but still creamy and feels really good and fresh when I apply it on my face. Glides smoothly on the skin and the scent doesn't linger for too long, which for me is a good thing, because who wants to still smell their face cream half an hour later? I confess I was disappointed at first, because after application my skin looked a bit greasy, but truth be told, after a little while all the greasy feeling was gone and my skin was left feeling soft and moisturized. I usually apply this cream at night and in the morning my skin is stilk feeling plump and smooth, so I'm happy with this. I have been using this for a few weeks but not long enough or consistently enough to have an opinion on its anti aging effects - which is absolutely normal, since this things take time and consistency, and of course it's not one product alone that will change my skin. However I'm happy with this cream and think its moisturizing and skin barrier maintenance properties are really interesting for improving and maintaining skin healthy. It'll probably be best for slightly dry and normal skin but may adapt to some types of combination skin.
