Neulii - Camelliaskinensis review for Squalane Desertica Moisture Cream

🌒 This moisturizer claims to nourish irritated skin with its soft, creamy texture and forms a barrier to lock in moisture and prevent it from evaporating. 🌒 I’m a fan of everything squalane, so getting this was a no-brainer. I was looking for a nourishing moisturizer that’s rich but not heavy, and this one delivers excellently. I’ve been using this in my pm routine for over a month! It’s thick but applies elegantly, absorbs well and I can feel the intense moisture immediately, which was a godsend after all the time I spent under the sun on this trip. This keeps my moisture levels and my skin barrier up, which is great because I prefer to keep my actives regular. I actually like this better than the cult fave Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Cream, which is pretty good, but also feels heavy and slow to absorb in hot or humid weather. 🌒 Squalane also works really well for dermatitis — it’s actually the ingredient that turned things around for me when I was having some really bad seborrheic dermatitis. Last weekend while I was still in Bohol I got a rash on my nape; not sure what it came into contact with in the seawater but it had raised, red welts and they were itchy, then stung when in contact with sweat. I’ve been applying the moisturizer down to that area and it cleared up in days. 🌒 It’s also affordable, under P400 (~$8) for 100ml. Would totally repurchase.
