I have dehydrated combination skin. Recently I had quite a bit of acne and nothing was working on my skin. I tried the Cerave Salicylic acid face wash but that didn't work much. Only this worked due to the active ingredients - salicylic acid and glycolic acid which act as exfoliating agents.
The face wash is a bit drying. Especially if you're washing twice. Using it once particularly at night worked for me.
Even though I have combination skin, still I had to use a heavy moisturizer (cetaphil moisturizer for dry to very dry skin one) in order balance it.
