This is a cleansing oil that helps refresh and clarify skin by smoothly removing makeup and dullness. The oil contains herbal extracts with emollient properties to soften skin. I used three pumps for my face and neck as a first cleanser. It feels light but highly moisturizing. Additionally, it does not feel overly greasy as well. It does emulsify well but not as much as a cleansing balm. I did not have any irritation around my eyes when using this too. After washing it off, my skin felt clean, soft, and hydrated. There is a faint herbal scent that does not linger after washing it off.
