The difference of this product from other CeraVe products is its active ingredient (Dimethicone) which is about 1%. Helps in preventing TEWL.
Did not experience any irritation from it despite having a compromised skin barrier upon using it.
Texture wise, you can feel the smooth, silicon-y feel. It's a great night cream for oily skin! It is also a great sealant when layering products, or if you want to simplify your skincare!
This product gives a matte finish, which can be too drying for dry / dehydrated skin.
