I’ve been not double cleansing for months, I’ve just been using micellar water + a gentle gel or foam cleanser.

I recently introduced double cleansing again in my pm routine and I noticed more pimples (in the same area where I usually get them).

I’m using the same products (from toner to spf) and the only change in my routine is double cleansing.

Can it cause purging?

I’m using the Deep Nourishing Jojoba Cleansing Oil and the Freshening Face Wash, both by facetheory.

At the beginning, I was quite sceptical when I saw this white stick because I was 100% sure it would give my face an heavy white cast.
Guess what? It's absolutely and unexpectedly invisible on the skin!

This non-greasy sun stick offers SPF50+ PA++++ sun protection thanks to four chemical filters - such as Uvinul A Plus, Uvinul T 150, Parsol SLX and Tinosorb S - and it’s strongly resistant in sweat and water.

It’s formulated with Centella Asiatica and Madecassoside which help sooth irritated skin and protect skin from external stimulus.

It has no scent and it's so easy to apply and re-apply through the day: during the application, it has this silkish touch and the first time I tried it I wasn't sure I was actually applying it on my face because I couldn't feel it sliding on my skin!

I usually apply it 3-4 times in each side of my face to be sure I'm covering every inch and it needs few minutes to completely dry out. In the meantime, it leaves a light sticky and oily finish that eventually disappears.
Once absorbed, it's almost impalpable and it gives the skin a glowy natural finish.

This sun stick is alcohol-free but unfortunately it contains fragrances - so it may not suit sensitive skins; anyway it has passed the Skin Irritation Test, so you should give it a try!

It's almost a waste applying it on the beach because it's a great everyday product.

I'm pretty sure it's the best sun stick I've ever tried and I won't go anywhere without it! 🫶🏻

I’m snail mucin biggest fan and I was so excited to try this serum! 🐌

This is my first COXIR product and I’ve enjoyed it so far, so let’s have a deep talk about it. 🗣️

BLACK SNAIL COLLAGEN SERUM is suitable for all skin types and it’s great for anti-aging concerns. 👵🏻

It’s a 50 ml plastic bottle but – ugh, I would’ve loved a glass one to keep an eye on our environment! 🌍

Anyway, let’s see which are the main ingredients:

🔍	Glycerin > a super common, cheap, safe and effective natural moisturizer also found in our skin;

🔍 Betaine > an amino acid with protective and moisturising properties;

🔍 Allantoin > a soothing ingredient;

🔍 Adenosine > it helps with wound healing, barrier repair and protection, but it also has anti-inflammatory properties;

🔍 Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract > it’s Aloe Vera, so a moisturising, emollient and anti-inflammatory ingredient;

🔍 Hydrolyzed Collagen > a chemical version of the molecule we all know for its moisturising and humectant properties made by mixing peptides;

🔍	Copper Tripeptide-1 > also known as Copper Peptide, it has wound healing, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects and it can also stimulate collagen and elastin production;

🔍	Arginine > an amino acid with moisturising properties;

And OF COURSE we have

🐌 SNAIL MUCIN > which is a great ingredient for healing our skin since it can reduce acne scars and hyperpigmentation;

🫘 BLACK SOYBEAN > used for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, collagen stimulating and skin lightening effects, but it also give us protection against UV radiation.

In my opinion, this is a pleasant gel-textured serum that leaves no sticky finish and it helps a lot with hydration, suitable for both AM and PM routine. 🫶🏻

I think I need more weeks to see any hyperpigmentation improvement but I will surely update my review!

As previously said, the only thing I dislike is the dispenser.

I’ve tried many SKIN1004 products and this is yet another good and well formulated one!
 
It’s fragrance&essential oil-free and, in my opinion, it has no scent although other people claim it has – guess they have a finer sense of smell than I do!
 
There are several praiseworthy ingredients:

▫️ Niacinamide – also known as Vitamin B3 or Nicotinamide, it’s a skincare superstar with several proven benefits for the skin: it’s a great anti-aging and wrinkle smoothing ingredient, it helps fading dark spots and it increases ceramides synthesis for a stronger, healthier skin barrier and better skin hydration.

▫️ Uvinul A Plus – a chemical sunscreen agent with high UVA protection and high photostability.

▫️ Uvinul T 150 – also a chemical sunscreen agent, but it gives the highest photo-stable absorption of all available UVB filters today.

▫️ Tinosorb M – a new generation “hybrid” sunscreen agent with a nice broad-spectrum coverage (it means that is UVB as well as UVA protection).

▫️ Uvasorb HEB – another chemical sunscreen agent that protects in the UVB and UVA II range (but not in UVA I).

▫️ Glycerin – a natural moisturiser that’s also in our skin.

▫️ Centella Asiatica - a great plant ingredient with proven wound healing, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties.

▫️ Green Tea - proven to be a great antioxidant, UV protectant, anti-inflammatory, anticarcinogenic and antimicrobial as well as a great choice for anti-aging and also for skin diseases including rosacea, acne and atopic dermatitis.

▫️ Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid – in simple terms, Hyaluronic Acid with 3 different molecular weights.

▫️ Adenosine – a good anti-inflammatory agent that helps with wound healing, barrier repair and protection.

▫️ Tocopherol – also known as Vitamin E, it has emollient and antioxidant properties as well as significant photoprotection against UVB rays.
 
Well, that’s enough “science” for today, so let’s talk about my personal experience with this product! ✍🏻
 
It has a creamy texture that seems pretty heavy while you’re spreading it on your face, but it’s lighter than it seems: in fact, you just need to rub it for few seconds and it instantly sinks into your skin.
 
It’s quite hydrating so – in my opinion – people with combination and oily skin have no need to use a moisturiser first. I applied this sunscreen with no moisturiser underneath and my dehydrated combination skin felt hydrated anyway during all the day.
 
Right after the application, it leaves a sticky finish but it easily disappears in about 10 minutes – in my personal case.
 
Just as it claims, this sunscreen has a dewy finish so, if you like a more natural or matte look, you should definitely apply a powder over it.
 
The only thing I dislike is the dispenser: in fact, the quantity dispensed with a single pump is not enough to protect your skin. I suggest you to apply from 4 to 6 pumps – it depends on your face size.

I experienced no white cast – but I’m pretty pale – and absolutely no pilling, even with several reapplications.
 
I also intensely cried wearing this sunscreen while I was watching a movie (Avengers: Endgame, iykyk 🥹) and it absolutely didn't sting my eyes, not even a little.
 
In my opinion, this sun serum could fit every single skintype, from the oiliest to the most sensitive, you should just trust me and give it a try!

I cannot live without pimple patches, they save me every time from picking my skin ‘till it bleeds, leaving dark spots and unpleasant marks. They also help to reduce the spreading all over my face after I popped a single pimple. I’ve been using patches for about two years now and I’m so curious to try these!
 
I’m a huge TIA’M fan and I didn’t know the existence of these patches ‘till I saw them on Picky so I HAD to try them! 🤩
 
They come in two different packages, Surprise H and Surprise B – H stays for #Hidden and B for #BedTime:

- Surprise H Patches are for day time use, they’re ultra thin and invisible to stay hidden also under make up and they come in one size (10 mm)

I’ve tried both the cream and the cream mask pack and I’ve loved every single application 🫶🏻

🧪 The cream mask pack has a richer texture but it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, not at all! It sinks deeply into skin to help holding moisture from evaporating, so that’s a call for all the dry and dehydrated skins out there!
🚨 I’ve always used it as a night cream, so I cannot tell you how it works as a 15/20 min wash off mask.

🧪 What can I tell you about the cream? Well.. I LOVE IT especially during this season (I live in Italy and it’s summer here!)
It has a lighter texture and it feels like water when it’s applied and it helps to maintain the skin hydrated.

🧪 These two products have the same lovely scent (don’t worry, it’s not too much and it doesn’t last after the absorption) and they leave the skin soft and smooth, with a glowy but not sticky finish.

👉🏻 I suggest you to use the cream mask pack if your skin is on the dry side or if it’s winter and you need a richer cream to keep your skin deeply hydrated
👉🏻 Otherwise I suggest you to use the cream if you have combo/oily skin or if it’s summer and you need a lighter hydration

🧬 Their formula is enriched with peptides and EGF (epidermal growth factor) to boost collagen and elastin production, to soothe the skin and to help with hydration.
