I really hope I get in because I want to see how it compares to other barrier repairing balms I’ve used before like the La roche posay cicaplast baume B5 and the Cerave healing ointment

Anyone else excited for the Pure’am balm?

I have found the best of products in Japanese bestsellers, from sunscreens to serums to hydrators. I would like to know if there’s any good ones I haven’t tried so please send your recommendations my way❤️

Japanese skincare recommendations, anyone?

It broke me out horribly, I also didn’t like the texture very much

It contains skin friendly products on the ingredient list and can potentially become a holty grail but.....

I used too much when I started, but I texted @Paulaschoice, they said a pea-sized amount is what’s recommended and it’s only advisable to use once a day. I wasn’t doing that 🌝 in fact, I ABUSED this poor product.
Conclusion: I will repurchase and I will recommend this to anyone who’s getting off a harsh acne treatment and is just looking for something less drying with multipurpose effects.

This is the only product I&#39;ve ever bought with high expectations and it didn&#39;t disappoint.
 I mean if it did disappoint I wouldn&#39;t have spent the last few weeks screaming Azelaic acid at everyone and everything.

My experience: It does everything everyone says it does, brightens uneven skin tone, gently exfoliates dead skin cells, zaps pesky pimples, reduces congestion. In fact, if I stated everything this helped me with, I would run out of words. I really really loved it and it’s definitely my favorite purchase of 2020 so far.

Comments: Honestly , I will not repurchase even though I like it... it’s one of those things that you like but you know just isn’t for you (Like lactose intolerant people with ice cream!I tried to use it daily but reapplying with this is next to impossible thanks to the long blend-in time, I have resorted to using this as an indoor sunscreen and beneath makeup sunscreen.

Conclusion: If you are a bit lighter skinned, this might work for you but if you are as dark as I am or darker... tread with caution!

Texture : Milky

Finish: Velvety satin Matte, sweat proof

Pros: It visibly brightens and makes your skin a bit tone-up 

Ghost mode: minimal white caste on Fenty foundation shade 445,  but it takes FOREVER to blend in 
P.S- it actually blends in completely to leave no white cast and you can step out with it. 

Price:4000 naira&#47; 5USD, yes I know it’s small and a bit pricey but it is totally worth the price in my opinion

Review: I actually enjoy using this sunscreen, it has a great texture, doesn’t make me too oily or too dry and it fits within my spf budget.

I don’t like the smell, the tube was leaking out of the edges, the smell was not pleasing, the cleanser itself is stripping.

ℂ𝕠𝕟𝕔𝕝𝕦𝕤𝕚𝕠𝕟- I would obviously not repurchase but I would recommend because this has a lot of positive reviews so it definitely works for more people than it doesn’t.

This cleanser is marketed for all skin types especially oily, to cleanse impurities without irritating or drying out the skin. So, you can imagine my surprise when the cleanser irritated and dried out my skin. I used this cleanser for only 5 days before I said enough is enough. In those 5 days, I got like 6 new whiteheads and numerous skin colored bumps and my cheeks were tight and dried out but I wasn’t getting that fresh, clean, face feeling, you know? Ugh.  Also, I couldn’t get over the smell, it has this car freshener kinda scent that I didn’t enjoy at all. 
ℙ𝕣𝕠 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕤-  the only pro I can think of is that it has a hygienic packaging.

My experience: You know those products that sound great on paper but just don&#39;t live up to expectations? Yeah, this is one of those. Initially, I tried to enjoy this ignoring the whole ”niacinamide” issue because it’s so small, the brand didn’t even deem it front-page worthy. But, I just didn&#39;t see any brightening effect. I will be finishing it anyway (or giving it away to a lucky follower) but I just don&#39;t see myself repurchasing.
Cons
1. Niacinamide 😭
2. Takes a while of consistent use to see results.

So, everyone and their moms know that a well-formulated vitamin c serum has a combination of other antioxidants such as vitamin e, ferulic acid, etc. That&#39;s exactly why I was so excited to try this out... Even though they put in niacinamide *rolls eyes* Brands, real talk. Let’s try not to carry this attitude into 2021, I can’t even get a niacinamide-free Vitamin c serum again? End times, y’all!

How to use: Apply 2-4 drops on face and neck.

Key ingredients&#47;Notes: 15% L-Ascorbic acid, sea buckthorn water, niacinamide, ferulic acid, vitamin tree water. So many lovely antioxidants😔

5. Very beginner-friendly for all skin types
